Decagone
A downloadable module
A tense, time-looping scenario for the Mothership scifi horror RPG, hurtling players into a fast paced sub-nautical mystery.
Written by Waco Matrixo.
Art & Layout by Bodie H.
Upon arriving for their first day on the job in a deep ocean research facility, it becomes apparent that the crew are caught in a uniquely horrifying situation. They’ve become trapped inside a time-loop, along with a number of rather peculiar and dangerous experiments.
Every ten minutes, the crew finds themselves back in the elevator they arrived in. Unable to escape, and no time to call for help, how long until they've looped one too many times for their mind to handle?

Run-time: 3-5 hours
What's included:
- Module PDF (in both spread and page formats)

I ran Decagone for 5 players the other night and everyone had a blast. I strongly recommend adding player agendas, this really added a lot to the game once the players figured out how to get to the main lab and what's going on there. It's been a while since I ran a session where all players were engaged throughout - there was just so much discussion, banter and laughter at the table! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a one-shot scenario with a unique and memorable twist. I know I will run this again at various occasions.
So glad to have backed this on KS! Bodie's illustrations are spot on for the vibe of this scenario and I'm looking forward to give Waco's other Mothership adventure a go, too.
I love the illustrations, especially on the tokens.
Tri-folds are neat, but this is a booklet, and booklets are AWESOME!
The underlying idea for the module is simple, but the writing is well thought out and gives lots of options to prepare the Warden.
